History

Minder Pathana Suksa School was established by Harnam Singh Harbans Kaur (Sachdev) Foundation or in short, ‘Sachdev Foundation’. The name of the School means education for development ofa student’s mind to the highest. The school was named after the foundation’s co-founder and vice president, Mrs. Minder Kaur Sachdev, to show the love and respect that the Sachdev family have towards Mrs. Minder, who besides being an exemplary wife and mother, has also lived her life with a mind for social service, in areas of public needs and Medicare, and has always promoted and supported the cause of education.

The school was constructed by the Sachdev Foundation on the foundation’s land, initially using 4 acres from total of 11 acres, where 1 six storey multi purpose building was built at 33/1 Pathanakarn Road, Prawet Sub-District, Prawet District, Bangkok. The Foundation was granted the School License no. 01/2556 on March 26^th, 2013 for setting up a General Education School for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten 1-3 levels under the Ministry of Education’sCoreCurriculumwith an English Program (EP) system of education. The school opened on May 16th, 2013, with 2 classes each for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten 1-3 in its first academic year.

On 16^th May 2014, the school was granted the license for primary 1-6 to begin teaching and instructionat the level of Primary 1-3, and would expand to Primary 4, 5, and 6 in subsequent years by the year 2017.With the increasing demand for more admissions at early learning childhood level, the school has obtained permission to expand its kindergarten and will open 3 classrooms each of Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten besides starting Primary 4 in the academic year 2015.
