Teacher Qualifications for our English Program (NES Teachers)
All teachers must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in education (preferably early childhood), and teaching experience or a teachers license.
Non-native English-speakers must have excellent English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, be able to communicate like a native speaker and have a TOEFL score of at least 550, a TOEIC score of at least 600, or an IELTS of not less than 5.5.
Non-native English-speakers who do not have a teachers license must have a recognized TEFL/TESOL teaching certificate.
Native and Non-native foreign teachers must undergo Training in Thai Curriculum, language and Thai Culture for at least 15 hours.
Primary level Teachers must have a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in the subject to be taught (English/Maths/Science/P.E.)
